Here's everything Valorant fans need to know about VCT Masters Tokyo 2023, including the competition's format, the Group Stage and Playoff schedules, and all the teams competing.
VCT Masters Tokyo will consist of two stages: the Group Stage and the Playoffs.
Ten of the twelve teams competing in VCT Masters Tokyo were determined by the Valorant Champions Tour international leagues in the Americas, EMEA and the Pacific.
The Americas and Pacific have three teams representing their regions at Masters Tokyo. EMEA is represented by four teams, having earned an extra slot from Fnatic's victory at LOCK//IN Brazil. The top three EMEA teams will qualify for VCT Champions later this year, while the worst-placed EMEA team will get another chance in the Last Chance Qualifier.
There are also two team representatives from China, which were decided by the FGC Valorant Invitational 2023: Act 1. These teams include EDward Gaming and Attacking Soul Esports, the latter making their first international debut.

These top four seeded teams earned their slot by winning the VCT league in their respective region. As mentioned, EMEA earned an additional slot for their region.
Team Liquid were EMEA's victors, with Fnatic coming in second as the runners-up.
Here are all the eight lower bracket teams that will be competing in the Group Stage. All of these teams were the runners-up in their respective leagues.
Riot Games have revealed that Tipstar Dome Chiba will be hosting the entirety of the Group Stage and the majority of the playoffs until there are only three remaining teams.
The Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final will be held at Makuhari Messe, Japan's largest convention centre. Tensions are high, and the atmosphere will be electric - tickets are still on sale for fans wishing to attend the Masters event. Tickets are on sale for fans outside of Japan here.
