This season brings a wave of changes and fresh starts as the LCS Spring Split 2024 steps onto the stage with eight teams, a slight shift from the usual ten. All eight will teams battle it out, not just for the coveted MSI invitation but also to claim their stake in the impressive $200,000 prize pool. The stakes are high, and the competition is fierce – game on!

LCS Spring Split 2024: Format

One of the most significant changes coming to the LCS is that all matches will now be played on the live patch. In previous years, all games were played on a pre-sanctioned patch. Moving forward into the regular season, the current new patch, 14.1, will be the one the pros are playing on.

Here is the full format breakdown for the LCS Spring Split. 

Group Stage

  • Eight teams compete in the initial Group Stage in a double round-robin format. 
  • All matches are best of one. 
  • The top six teams advance to the Playoffs; the top four start in the Upper Bracket, and 5th and 6th start in the Lower Bracket. 
  • The bottom two teams are eliminated.

Playoffs

  • Six teams compete in a double-elimination bracket.
  • All matches are best of five.
  • The top two teams (The winners and runner-up) both qualify for the Mid-Season Invitational.

Eight of NA's best League of Legends teams will compete in the 2024 LCS Spring Split. After a long offseason brought plenty of roster changes, we're excited to see what each team brings to the table in 2024. 

Please take a look below for all the teams competing in the LCS Spring Split, including their player rosters by their in-game ID. Players are ordered according to their in-game role (Top, Jungle, Middle, Bottom, and Support).

Due to the NA League of Legends league is condensed from ten teams to just eight, Golden Guardians and Evil Geniuses will not be competing this year.

LCS Spring Split 2024: Schedule

Cloud9 won both LCS 2023 splits, will they be success in LCS Spring Split 2024?

The LCS Spring Split 2024 begins on January 20, kicking off the new year with a bang. As the team list has been condensed down to eight teams, roughly four matches will be played per day, typically on Saturdays and Sundays. Super Week on Week 3 will have extra matches on Friday.

March 14 - Upper Bracket Semifinals

  • 3:00 PM: 100 Thieves vs. Cloud9

March 15 - Upper Bracket Semifinals

  • 3:00 PM: FlyQuest vs. Team Liquid

March 16 - Lower Bracket Quarterfinals

  • 3:00 PM: NRG vs. 100 Thieves

March 17 - Lower Bracket Quarterfinals

  • 3:00 PM: Dignitas vs. Team Liquid

March 22 - Lower Bracket Semifinal

  • 3:00 PM: 100 Thieves vs. Team Liquid

March 23 - Upper Bracket Final

  • 3:00 PM: FlyQuest vs. Cloud9

March 30 - Lower Bracket Final

  • 3:00 PM: Cloud9 vs. Team Liquid

March 31 - Grand Final

  • 4:00 PM: Team Liquid vs. FlyQuest

LCS Spring Split 2024: Venue and Streams

All LCS Split matches are hosted at the dedicated Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, formerly the LCS Arena. This specially designed venue hosts pro-League of Legends and pro-Valorant matches, with an intimate seating capacity of just 210 audience members. 

As always, all LCS matches will also be live-streamed on the official LCS Twitch channel, with the usual analyst desk panel deep-diving into each game. You can also catch VODs on the LCS YouTube channel if you missed the live broadcast. Many of your favorite LoL streams will also be co-hosting on Twitch, so keep an eye out!
